Volunteering at the NDA
We could not deliver our services without the hard work and dedication of our Volunteers. They are the lifeblood of the NDA.
Our volunteers are not paid. Not because they are worthless but because they are priceless
We’re looking for volunteers!
Are you a friendly individual looking to help the local community? If so, why not become one of our mobile clinic drivers? The Norfolk Deaf Association supports the deaf and the hard of hearing across the county and is looking for volunteers to help with the delivery of our services. For more information, please contact our team Jenny or Mark on 01603 404440 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
New Hearing support volunteers joining the NDA following the successful completion of the initial training
We have a small number of paid staff who manage and administer all our services and activities but the NDA relies on volunteers for its operation. Many of our volunteers are hearing aid users themselves so they are in an excellent position to help hearing aid users obtain the most benefit from their aids and provide them with emotional and practical support. At NDA the Volunteers have a number of roles:
Deliver the Hearing Support Service
Act as a Befriender
Support our fundraising events
Help in the office
